A really good suggestion for anyone, especially diabetics…

After eating a meal, go out for a light walk; it will help not only to improve your digestion, but help manage your blood sugar/insulin levels as well! You body uses extra energy for digestion and a simple light walk after a meal will give you a little extra boost to aid your GI system. It will also help to use up some of those excess sugars floating around in your blood stream! If you recall… your body utilizes those sugars as an initial energy source when you increase your activity level even just a bit!!!
*Just be sure to discuss any exercise plans with your physician before beginning if you are diabetic.
