Have you ever kept track of the total number of calories you consume in a day? Weight gain is usually caused when we consume more calories than what we use up. Always remember that calories come from both food and drinks. It takes about 3,500 calories to equal a pound of body fat. Now think about what you regularly eat. What are your calorie needs, and how many do you realistically consume vs. what you expend?
